Our trip to pick up my ESA

We made a little trip out to Vernal, UT to pick up my little girl. After having ESA paperwork from a therapist, it's been a long time coming. Even though I have the paperwork, my landlord has repeatedly denied me and told me to move if I don't like it. We'll see how this plays out.

Not everyone deserves your love

Today I am reminded that on this day, 3 years ago my mother had me served with papers suing me for Grandparents rights. What a piece of shit. Her husband sexually assaults my child, gets off with 30 days in county jail, not on the sex offender list and pays a fine less than some that were charged with marijuana possession. Its crap. It has definitely made me lose my faith in the justice system. I wouldnt let her see the kids, even changed their phone numbers. why, you ask? Because she made excuse after excuse on why her husband did what he did. And she is still with the pedophile. Want to know why she is a horrible grandparent? In her disclosing documents she wants the kids every third weekend and two weeks in the summer. At the place where the abuse occurred!! Nothing like making your grandkids relive the horror every time they visit. But hey! You have horses so it must be a great place to visit. If only the pedophile didnt live there. What an idiot. No one deserves to be abused. No one deserves to have excuses made on why the abuse happened. Abuse is abuse. She is no mother. She deserves no love from me. It is however a double edged sword. I will be the best parent I can be while receiving no love from others. My kids are everything and I will continue to try to make new and better memories to dull the pain of the past. Each year gets easier. I will never forget. However, I hope the pain lessens every day.

An idiot abroad

I just found An Idiot Abroad on Netflix. For those of you who know my sense of humor and my love of everything British will understand this. I haven't laughed so hard in ages. It is absolutely brilliant! I highly recommend it. Karl is so funny in his naive yet hysterical view of the far reaches of the world that he has to go to and experience. Ricky Gervais decides to send Karl to the Wonders of the World. But, in true Gervais style makes a few road bumps for Karl. Like having him try local cuisine (cock and balls), to staying in a room that smells like vomit. I cant wait to watch the rest of the episodes.

Single in today's society

What is going on with men today. Chivalry is dead. I've been on multiple dating sites, and it's the same old thing. Guys are disgusting. No guy actually wants a relationship anymore it seems. They all want that one thing. To skip right past the dating. What happened to dating, to getting to know each other? Thats what women want. Not to be treated like a piece of meat. Take a girl out. Hold her hand. Make her feel like she can rule the world, and she will. A woman in love can do anything. She will look her best, feel her best. It only takes a minute to say "you look beautiful". It will mean the world. Even if it is through text. Its the thought that counts.
