Our local thrift store

I'm in love with our local thrift store. I found a cotton candy machine for $10. Which, I admit is a bit steep when you are not sure if it works or not. I found a refill kit at shopko and tah dah! We used it tonight and it works wonderfully. Cotton candy was my kids' dessert tonight.

Newspaper nails

This is my first time trying this. Apply two coats of white polish. Cut strips of newspaper. Soak small strip in alcohol and press on nail. Let sit for a minute and peel off. Add topcoat.

Kennedy's birthday

My little peanut turned seven. We got her the cutest little play house. We found some bricks in the yard and used then to make a walkway to the door. It turned out great. I walked out today to look at it and found out my husband put flowers by the front door. He's duh a good dad.
