The darkness of Shadows

I just got done reading The Darkness of Shadows. I was not quite prepared for the psychotic feel of this novel. It was horrific, but I loved every minute of it. If you know me, I love books that leave your emotions twisting and turning.. It grabbed ahold of me and didn't let go until I read the last page. Definitely a reader!!!

The S-Word by Chelsea

I just got done with this book and I must say, holy crap! It started off slow and I wasnt sure I knew where it was going, but if you just hang in there it will blow your socks off.

The kids are coming, the kids are coming!

My kids are coming up on Friday, and I cannot tell you how excited I am! I havent seen the kids since Labor Day. Im so excited that they get to come up to New England during peak leaf sightseeing times. Not only that, during October, Halloween time. Me and the kids love Halloween. The scary, haunted houses.. Oh yeah! Apple picking and pumpkin patches, I love the fall. So, the plans as of now are Salem, MA, of course. Ive always been semi obsessed or intrigued by witches. Salem is great. It has the perfect cobbled stone streets, and big, mature trees, its straight out of a fairy tale. Hopefully, I will be able to0 post some pictures afterward. I would love to take the kids to the beach, as they havent seen the ocean since being small children. It may be freezing though, so we will see how brave we feel. Today is lazy football Sunday. Hes watching football as I blog and read and do my lazy Sunday thing. I made chili in the crockpot and the most delicious cornbread. Perfect for our lazy, cold, raining day.
